good day community

May I please ask for some advice regarding a problem I am having with my laptop. I used to have an HP Probook 350 G8 i3 that had a HD screen and used it along with my 24 inch FHD Dell monitor. It worked perfectly and screen clarity was perfect on the second screen.

I've recently purchased an HP 15s i3 11th Gen and it has an FHD screen, that has really good quality but it makes the programs and windows that I put on my second screen seem blurry and not as nice as what my old laptop made it look like.

I've checked that my graphics drivers & BIOS are up to date. My windows settings for scaling are all on the Recommended  setting and I am now left with no other option. I have an understanding of what it is, but not sure how I fix it. All FHD laptops have their scaling set to 125% as their recommended scaling setting and the second screen is set to 100%. Setting it to 125% makes the second screen look normal.

How on earth did HP put an FHD screen on these laptops, if it causes problems with second and external screens? Can someone please help me fix this!
