Hi @aemii,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the screen on your HP Envy x360 shakes intermittently, there could be several potential causes. Here are a few things to try.

  • Update Graphics Drivers: Screen shaking can often be caused by outdated or corrupted graphics drivers. Try updating your graphics drivers through Device Manager or by visiting the HP support website for your laptop model to download the latest drivers.
  • Check for External Interference: If you are using any external devices (like a USB hub, external monitor, or even a mouse), unplug them and see if the issue persists. Sometimes, peripheral devices can cause interference.
  • Disable Hardware Acceleration: Some applications, especially browsers and other software that use hardware acceleration, can cause screen shaking. Try disabling hardware acceleration in the settings of your web browser or any other software you use when the issue occurs.
  • Adjust Display Settings: Go to the "Display Settings" on your computer and adjust the screen resolution and refresh rate. Try changing the refresh rate to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Check for Malware: Sometimes, malware or unwanted programs can cause display issues. Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to rule out any potential infections.
  • Perform a System Restore: If the screen shaking just started recently, performing a system restore to a previous working state can help eliminate any changes that might have caused the problem.
  • Hardware Issue: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it might be related to hardware, such as a loose cable or an issue with the graphics card.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
