@Liudmyla,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to change the display settings.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can Right-click on the desktop and then select display settings and you can change the display settings from here.

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95501-96000/sp95708.exe

Graphics: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp94501-95000/sp94663.exe

Nvidia: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95326.exe (If you have Nvidia graphics)

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!

Thank you for your reply. And for the links. But do I understand correctly that updating my graphics driver will give me HDR Color support? And if the BIOS is updated, will I be able to update it myself if I do not have BIOS experience?

@Liudmyla

Updating the graphic driver and BIOS may help to resolve this issue. Yes, you can update the BIOS on your own. Kindly use HP Support Assistant to update the drivers on your PC.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
