Ubuntu LTS

I just upgraded my OS from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04, and after a few weeks my shift keys stopped working, both at the same time. (I am using the caps lock key for capital letters and Onboard for special characters) I tried booting 18.04 from a thumb drive and the problem still exists. Sticky Keys are off, and all tabs are set to the United States. Is there anything else I can try?

When I signed on just now the Left shift key worked, and it's working right now. Using the Right shift key seems to disable both keys.

It seems the shift keys go offline for some other reason than pressing the right shift key.

After an upgrade of Ubuntu my shift keys are working again.

Never mind. They stopped working again.
