Hi @Honey62,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To add icons back to the screen for shortcuts to your most used apps on an HP Chromebook, you can follow these steps.

  • Open Launcher: Click on the circle icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen, also known as the Launcher.
  • Find Your App: Scroll through the list of apps to find the one you want to add to the home screen.
  • Right-click or Long Press: Right-click on the app icon you want to add, or long-press if you're using a touchscreen.
  • Select "Pin to Shelf" or "Create Shortcut": In the menu that appears, you should see an option like "Pin to Shelf" or "Create Shortcut." Click on this option.
  • Confirmation: Confirm the action, if prompted.
  • Locate the Shortcut: Now, you should see the app icon appear on the shelf (the bottom part of the screen) or on the desktop, depending on your Chromebook's settings.
  • Repeat for Other Apps: Repeat these steps for any other apps you want to add shortcuts for.

By following these steps, you can easily add icons for your most used apps back to the screen for quick access on your HP Chromebook.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
