I have a problem from starting with my omen 15 (2021 edition) that suddenly a small (1 second) lag or say frame drop happens in windows (NOT ONLY WHILE GAMING), the cursor and sound output everything lags (its like the small lag happens when you change the refresh rate) . I have updated all the drivers and storage etc.  all are good bios also updated.

 

please provide some solution ASAP!!

Troubleshooting Steps

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and that there's no protective tape left on them. Remove and reseat them if necessary.

Network Connection:

  • Since you're using Wi-Fi Direct, ensure your device is connected to the printer's network. Check for any conflicting connections.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check for available firmware updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website, as updates can resolve connectivity issues.

Reset Network Settings:

  • If the printer has an option, try resetting the network settings to reconfigure your Wi-Fi Direct connection.

Print a Test Page:

  • Attempt to print a test page from the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app to see if it works.
