Hi @ZA08,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Sure View is a privacy feature that helps protect your on-screen data from prying eyes by reducing the viewing angle of the display. It's typically a hardware feature integrated into the display panel itself. However, not all HP Pavilion laptops come with Sure View, and it's possible that your specific model may not have this feature.

If your laptop doesn't have a dedicated Sure View button or the FN + F2 combination doesn't work, it's likely that your laptop doesn't have the Sure View feature.

Here are a few steps you can take to confirm.

Check your laptop specifications:

  • Visit the official HP website and find the product page for your specific HP Pavilion model.
  • Look for the display specifications and features. If Sure View is not mentioned, your laptop likely doesn't have this feature.

Consult the user manual:

  • Check the user manual that came with your laptop. It should provide information about the features and specifications of your device, including whether it includes Sure View.

If it turns out that your specific HP Pavilion model does not have Sure View, you might want to explore other privacy screen solutions, such as physical privacy filters that you can attach to your laptop's display. These filters limit the viewing angle and can help protect your on-screen data from unauthorized viewing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
