I dont know what happend but for some reason my taskbar now takes up half of my screen and i have no idea how to fix it

Hi,

 

Place the pointer on the top boundary of the taskbar until it changes to a double ended arrow, hold down the left corner of the touchpad and drag the taskbar to the required size.

 

Note:  If the pointer does not change to a double ended arrow at the top edge of the taskbar, first right click an empty area of the taskbar and remove the checkmark against 'Lock the taskbar'.

 

In either case, when done, right click an empty area of the taskbar and re-enter the checkmark against 'Lock the taskbar' to prevent accidental re-sizing.
