HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000 (552D4AV)

The mousepad is so sensitive just moving it around the screen causes it to open any links it goes over. I have changed the sensitivity to the lowest  setting but it is still ridiculously sensitive. I spend all my time trying to get back to the task I was trying to accomplish. I really need this fixed otherwise I am going to spend  the next unknown number of years totally hating this laptop. It opens and closes things at random. Any help appreciated.

Hi @Sebgrb,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I suggest that you run an extensive system test by following the steps listed below:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
3. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
4. From the main menu, click System Test and then click on Extensive Test.
5. Click Run once.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a nice day.
