the screen changes 3 colors continuing when not in use

when i am off the computer the screen starts changing between 3 colors rapidly.

I see that you are facing display issues with your HP Slim Desktop - S01-PF1048xt wherein the display colors keep changing rapidly.

Let me know if the screen flickers while turning off the unit.

You may also follow the steps listed below for power drain.

- Please disconnect all the devices and cables connected to your computer including the power cable and then press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds and connect the power cable back again and try to power on the computer.

- Press windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows +B for 3-4 seconds more.

- Try connecting an external monitor and check.
