Subject: Screen Issue — No Accidental Damage, Request Warranty Repair
Hello,
I have an active warranty on my HP device. Recently, I noticed spots appearing on the screen, but I have not dropped or spilled anything on the device. The issue seems to be a screen defect or malfunction.
Could you please help me confirm if this issue is covered under my warranty? I would like to request a repair or replacement under the standard warranty since this is not accidental damage.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Rajat Singh

I reported the issue to HP, but they denied service under the standard warranty, stating that such screen defects are not covered. They are saying its an external damage without examining my laptop . They just saw some pictures and videos provided by me and came to this conclusion that its an external damage not covered under warranty. They quoted ₹14,000 for screen replacement. This situation is extremely unfair and misleading.
