I did not do this specific test yesterday but I just attempted it. When I get into the "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI" menu there is no "Touch Screen" option on the "Component Tests" page. I know my computer is a touchscreen - I've used it for over a year. 🙂

Absolutely, it is a touchscreen computer.

 

Let us update the hardware diagnostics menu and then retry the touchscreen test. Please download and install the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics from this link.

 

 

Once the installation is complete, you may attempt to run the hardware test on the touchscreen.

I installed the diagnostics tool, there still was not a "touchscreen" option but I ran the two under "input devices" and it passed both. I then downloaded the HP Support Assistant and there was only one update: Intel WLAN Driver for Microsoft Windows 10. So, no luck.

So far, you have updated the BIOS and graphics drivers, reinstalled Windows and the issue persists.

Thanks, I got it. The only solution is to pay $59 to get a two-year-old computer that was $1,300 fixed?
