Product: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (7K2V7AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I supposed after rebooting I see my external mouse working and the device manager showing UID and ELAN again means that the reboot automatically reinstalled this. Ran hardware diag. from HP Support assistance, etc. and nothing. There are some suggestions about manually installing the drivers. How does one do this, and where do I find the right drivers? This laptop is brand new, touchpad was working and suddenly it wasn't. It has gone through some windows update but not sure which one. I run a KVM switch and was using an external keyboard and mouse most of the time. Just discovered it wasn't working. Thanks for you help.
