Hi @yazidtejan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand the concern. Since the HP Pavilion 15t-eg300 originally came with Windows 11 Home, switching to Windows 11 Pro can sometimes cause certain OEM drivers, especially touchpad-related components, to stop functioning properly until the correct drivers and settings are restored.

Please try the recommended steps below carefully:

  1. Restart the laptop and press the F2 key repeatedly at startup to check whether the touchpad responds in HP Hardware Diagnostics.

  2. Make sure the touchpad is enabled:
    • Press Windows + I
    • Go to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad
    • Confirm the touchpad is turned ON

  3. Open Device Manager and check under:
    • Human Interface Devices
    • Mice and other pointing devices

If you see any unknown device or warning symbol:

  • Right-click it
  • Select Uninstall device
  • Restart the laptop

  1. Run Windows Update completely, including Optional Updates:
    • Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates

  2. Please also follow the HP touchpad troubleshooting guide below and complete the steps exactly as listed: HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshoot the touchpad | HP® Support

Since the issue began after moving from Windows 11 Home to Pro, it is also possible that the installed touchpad driver package does not fully match the system image or chipset configuration. Running all HP and Windows updates usually helps restore the required components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
