I understand you want to know add an external GPU. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Yes, you can indeed use an external GPU (eGPU) with your OMEN by HP laptop model 17-An009np to enhance its graphics performance for tasks like Blender and Unreal Engine.
The Razer Core X is a popular choice for an external GPU enclosure. Here's what you need to ensure compatibility and set it up:
- Thunderbolt 3 Port: Your laptop needs a Thunderbolt 3 port to connect to the Razer Core X. This port allows for high-speed data transfer and is necessary for connecting the eGPU.
- Compatibility: Ensure that your laptop model supports external GPUs via Thunderbolt 3. Generally, HP OMEN laptops support eGPU configurations, but it's always good to double-check.
- Power Supply: The Razer Core X requires its own power supply, so make sure you have an outlet available to power the enclosure.
- Graphics Card: The Razer Core X is just an enclosure, so you'll need to buy a separate desktop graphics card to put inside it. Make sure the graphics card you choose is compatible with both the Razer Core X and your laptop.
- Drivers and Setup: Once everything is connected, you may need to install drivers for the graphics card and possibly configure your laptop to recognize the eGPU. Usually, the process involves downloading the necessary driver's OMEN by HP 17-an000 Laptop PC Software and Driver

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
