aloha!
i just purchased the 2022 HP Envy x360 Laptop, Intel Core i5-1135G7(>i7-1065G7), Thunderbolt 4, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, etc.
i was told i can run 1 external extended monitor from the HDMI port and the other external extended monitor from the USB C thunderbolt port. This would be two cables.
however, in the description of the HP laptop is says "The latest Thunderbolt solution lets you connect up to two 4K displays with a single cable and blazing 40Gbps signaling rate"
why does it say single cable?

Yes, looks like they are talking about daisy chain monitors. You only need ONE cable from machine to monitors. You need compatible monitors too, not any monitor. The following Guide shows you how to connect
