Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

now i have an HP 15-F222WM and it has been working with touch screen all the time am not ready to give up my touch screen cause i bought a touch screen now i need to know why cant HP correct this issue with an updated driver ccause it seems to be a problem which is not being corrected

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Try re-installing the touchscreen driver - 

 

1. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2. Expand the Human Interface Devices heading.
3. The touch screen device is labeled HID-compliant touch screen, or similar. Right-click the touch screen device and select Uninstall.
4. Confirm the un-installation.
5. Restart the computer to reinstall the touch screen driver.

 

Also, try these steps to update the computer - 

 

Step 1 Windows Updates - 
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer. 

 

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates - 
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
