Dear,
I have a HP universal USB-C Multiport hub.
However, every screen that I try to connect with hdmi to this hub wil not connect.
If I put the HDMI cable into the laptop, the screens work perfect.
I've the most recently driver for the hub.
Does any one know what the problem could be?

The problem is your machine ONLY has 1 hopeless USB 3.2 Gen 1.0 Type-C port; 5 Gbps signaling rate (data transfer only; charging or external monitors not supported) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
