Product: HP Notebook 15-dy1036nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop started showing a vertical line on the screen. and the words on the screen are blurry. When I press the power button off and turn it back on it fixes itself. Today the same vertical line appeared, the screen went black and then it started showing a multitude of colours. I turned it off and it fixed itself again. Do I need a new screen?

(1) Update BIOS

Thanks for the response. However I couldn't proceed further, because when I tried updating the BIOS I got the following message..The BIOS you are installing is older than the current version in the system and cannot be execute
