HP Pavilion dv7-4320el
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Hp Pavilion dv7 gets bsod after some minutes and error error shows "thread stuck in device driver" while other times It gets: video tar failure (atikmpag.sys).

Video card is Radeon HD6550 but I downloaded and I installed  last drivers for Win 10 in HP site but in device manager I see HD5000. Problem continue to be present.

I noted windows 10 is not support for this notebook infact drivers are missing in HP site.

What do you suggest me to solve problem?

What specific display driver can I download ?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I found out that perhaps Radeon AMD driver is not developed for Windows 10 in fact system comes with Windows 7.

What do you think?

Thank you for posting back.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. We do not have information regarding Radeon compatibility with Windows 10 PC upgraded from Windows 7.
However, once AMD releases the software driver it will be pushed to your computer via Windows update or through HP support assistant only if your PC is compatible.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
