@Fede_Fabi, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Video Flickering and Character Fluttering!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're experiencing video flickering or characters fluttering on your HP computer screen, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Access the HP Support website or your computer's manufacturer's site to download the latest graphics drivers for your specific system.
  • Install the updated drivers and restart your computer to see if the issue resolves.

Check Cable Connections:

  • Ensure all monitor cables are securely connected to your computer's graphics port.
  • If using a separate monitor, try a different cable or port (e.g., switching from HDMI to DisplayPort) to determine if the cable or port is defective.

Adjust Refresh Rate:

  • Go to Display Settings in Windows.
  • Click on "Advanced display settings."
  • Under "Refresh rate," ensure it matches the optimal setting for your monitor. Adjusting this can often resolve flickering issues.

Disable External Display Adapters:

  • If you have external adapters (such as USB to HDMI), try removing them to see if they are causing the problem.

Test with Another Monitor or System:

  • Connect your monitor to a different computer or test a different monitor with your computer. This can help isolate whether the issue is with the monitor or the computer's hardware/software.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool to check for hardware malfunctions. For instructions on using this tool, you can download it from HP's Diagnostics page.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
