Same deal here. Tried AMD forum as well. It's HP's responsibility to adapt the drivers. I found an HP article describing the problem when updating AMD drivers only an R7 320m or something is recognized instead of the R7 440m or when working in crossfire should be recognized as R8 445dx. That driver is dated april 2016, but also wouldn't finish downloading. kept getting stuck at 70%. So I called HP and some guy was trying to sell me printer driver support for 14.95 a month where you send in your computer or something and they can configure it for a printer. What a scam! I'm trying to solve a legit problem with their computer that's apparently been a bug since day 1.
So in short. We either have to "downgrade" our card to be an R7 320m to use the latest drivers with vulkan and loose like 20% performance in everything or live with broken HP drivers that will never likely be updated. OR OR we can pay them monthly fee's for installing our printers andhope they actually adapt new AMD drivers with full vulkan support for our computers.

from what i know, the r7 440m is just a rebadget r7 320, i wish i could get also the link to the article maybe 2 people working on a workaround might help, for what i have try i only found that HP is the only one that can fix this problem, but based on that this is a "budget gaming PC" i dont think they will care to boost our performance with vulkan , because why would we bother buying the expensive versions.
also your message was modified by a mod, wish i could know what exactly he modify because theres no reason on why he did it.
