This is the USB type C to HDMI adapter that I have used successfully:

I have used it with both USB type C ports on my new HP Spectre x360 Convertible.

One of our other Experts has the new Spectre and was just discussing using an Insignia USB-C to HDMI adapter . Not sure which specific model but hopefully he will chime in if I tag him here. @old_geekster
