Welcome to the HP English Community --
If you are trying to update the BIOS manually using an older BIOS installation pack,
Perhaps stop trying to force the installation --
There is not a BIOS update listed for your system and Windows 11.
The system will normally reject software -- and BIOS updates -- that are not appropriate or not suitable for some reason.
Reasons for BIOS update rejection might include:
- Wrong Bios for the hardware and / or the Operating System
- Wrong version for an update
- Weirdly corrupted installation package
- Wrong Source / Wrong BIOS -- HP Support Assistant has, in the past, occasionally tried to install BIOS not related to the hardware. The computer would normally reject such an attempt though it might not be able to provide a message explaining why the update is failing.
If the HP Support Assistant is trying to update the BIOS,
Open HP Support Assistant
Go to Settings
If possible / listed
Disable the BIOS update option
