windows 11 problem with camera and i need driver

hi i have laptop hp pavilion dv7 6b20em and i put windows 11 on it,now i have  problem with camera driver or camera.please help.

hello I have the same problem as you on the same computer the hp dv7 after installing windows 11 the camera does not work

Does your windows camera app work? (Click the Windows then type Camera)

It could 'just' be the Windows 11 Hello feature: check this by going to Windows | Settings | sign-in options | choose Facial recognition. If the message is the same as mine, i.e "couldn't find a compatible camera" it's Windows hello only that is not working, I would say it's the Realtek InfraRed Camera driver that is not working on Windows11.

Contact HP support and ask them:

Is there an updated Windows 11 driver for your Realtek InfraRed Camera?

There is an optional Windows update for Realtek.

Go to Settings | Updates | Advanced Options | Optional Updates | expand the "Driver Updates" drop down | Choose Realtek (or all of them) and install
