I have a 15-ac149ds I want to upgrade to 5g and add bluetooth, is it possible? If so what card model and driver should I get?

With the model number you have shared it shows HP Notebook - 15-ac149ds (ENERGY STAR) however in the product you have mentioned HP Envy touchsmart. Please provide me the product number of your computer to provide you accurate information.

 

If you are using HP Notebook - 15-ac149ds (ENERGY STAR) then you can install Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.0 Combo Adapter and it supports 5GHz.
