Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I had a 2560p without bluetooth. I recently bought a used module that das been removed from another 2560p, but the pc didn't recognise it, it didn't even appear in device manager. Someone wrote about a solution with win7 and hp connection manager. I installed a win7 but the bluetooth still doesn't appear in the device manager or the hp connection manager. I couldn't imstall bluetooth driver because it didn't find the hardware. Should I try anything else or I can assume the bluetooth module is faulty?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go into the BIOS and see if there is a setting to enable the Bluetooth adapter.

I have a different model Elitebook and there are settings to enable/disable the Wi-Fi adapter and the Bluetooth adapter.

Hi,

It turned out to be a hardware issue, I tried another BT adapter, and it works perfectly even though there's no bluetooth adjustment option in the BIOS (F.66, the latest).

I used this module: BROADCOM BCM920702MD_REF6H

The other one was slightly different so I don't know if it was uncompatible or just faulty, but the second one I tried was recognised without problem.

Thanks for the advice anyway!
