HP 350 Compact Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard

Hello,

I want to connect my bluetooth keyboard to my Windows 10 notebook but it doesn't appear in the bluetooth list of connectable devices.

For info : I could connect this keyboard without any problems to my i-Pad.

What can I do to make this keyboard visible in the list of bluetooth devices on my Windows 10 notebook?

Thanks

Eddy

HI @EddyJaVsr,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your 350 Compact Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard is not visible in the Bluetooth list on your Windows 10 notebook, despite working with your iPad, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Ensure Keyboard is in Pairing Mode

  • Put Keyboard in Pairing Mode: The keyboard must be in pairing mode to be discoverable by your Windows 10 notebook. Check the keyboard's manual for instructions on how to activate pairing mode. Typically, you might need to press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button or a specific key combination.

2. Check Bluetooth is Enabled on Your Windows 10 Notebook

  • Turn on Bluetooth:
    1. Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
    2. Go to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
    3. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. If it’s off, toggle it to On.

3. Ensure Windows 10 is Up to Date

  • Update Windows:
    1. Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
    2. Go to Update & Security > Windows Update.
    3. Click Check for updates and install any available updates.

4. Check Keyboard Compatibility

  • Verify Compatibility: Ensure your keyboard is compatible with Windows 10. Most Bluetooth keyboards should work with Windows 10, but check the manufacturer’s website for any specific compatibility information.

5. Remove and Re-Pair the Device

Remove Previous Pairings:

  1. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  2. If the keyboard appears in the list, select it and click Remove device.

Pair the Device Again:

  1. Put the keyboard back into pairing mode.
  2. Click Add Bluetooth or other device in Bluetooth & other devices.
  3. Choose Bluetooth and wait for your keyboard to appear in the list.

6. Restart Bluetooth Services

  • Restart Bluetooth Services:
    1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    2. Find Bluetooth Support Service in the list.
    3. Right-click on it and select Restart. If the service is not running, start it by right-clicking and selecting Start.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
