System: ZBook Firefly 14 G11A
OS: Windows 11 23H2
Network Device: HP 5G Sub-6 Cat 19 WWAN eSIM
Driver Version: 0.6.200.330
When I connect to the internet with the 5G SIM, the Status in the Network Connections panel (in Windows Control Panel) stays stuck showing "Identifying...", whereas I would expect it to show either the network name or "Unidentified Network" which I can fix in Windows.
When I run the powershell command "Get-NetAdapter" amongst the list of Adapters are 11 Mobile Adapters named Mobile, Mobile 2, Mobile 3, ,,,,,,Mobile 11 even though I have only one mobile adapter attached to the laptop. This is a fresh install of Windows 11 so these Mobile Adapters are not from previously installed adapters.
Can anybody confirm whether this is a driver problem or a Windows OS problem. Does anybody know how to fix this, please?
Thanks in advance.
