My PC is not showing up 5GHz WiFi. I have the  HP Notebook - 15s-du1034tu and my network adapter is Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCle Adapter. I was using the same laptop a couple of years before I can connect to a 5GHz wifi, now my laptop is not showing the 5GHz Wifi. I tried updating my network drivers. Still no luck.

Please help me through this.

Hi:

The Realtek RTL8723DE Wi-Fi adapter is a single band (2.4 GHz only) Wi-Fi adapter.

RTL8723DE - REALTEK

The only way to fix that problem would be to replace the Realtek RTL8723DE Wi-Fi adapter with this model:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac 1 × 1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter   HP part # L17365-005.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.
