What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook have?

Not all Wi-Fi adapters are dual band.

If you don't know what model Wi-Fi adapter your notebook comes with, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

But ,how to connect the 5g network...

HP Recommended

The Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCI Adapter is a single band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi adapter.

Realtek

It is impossible to connect to a 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi network with that model Wi-Fi adapter.

It is a hardware limitation.
