Hi:
You should be able to upgrade to this dual band wifi card with bluetooth...
Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11abgn 2×2 Wi-Fi Adapter, Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter HP part # 730668-001
You can find the card on eBay for around $20 or less.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
Before you install the Broadcom card, uninstall the Ralink wifi and bluetooth adapters in the device manager, and check the uninstall driver box.
Shut down, unplug the PC, remove the battery and install the Broadcom card.
Here are the links to the W8.1 wifi and bluetooth drivers for the Broadcom wifi card...

Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you if you can't find that card anywhere.
There are plenty of them for sale on eBay and you listed the USA as the country you are from.
There are also plenty of them for sale on Ali Express...

Then this card on Ali Express would work fine, since it indicates it is for HP notebooks...
