Hi @Radesh1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
I can understand how unexpected it must be to see both the network connection disappear and the system reporting a low power condition shortly after the Windows updates were installed. Dont worry let me check and help you with this.
To better understand the situation, could you kindly share:
- Whether you are using an HP USB-C Dock G5 or connecting the power adapter directly to the notebook
- Do you see any warning icons in Device Manager under Network adapters or Battery
- Did the issue start immediately after the installation of KB5126052, KB5121794, and KB5129191?
In the meantime, kindly try the below steps and confirm :
1. Check Network Adapters
- Right-click Start and open Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Check whether the Wi-Fi and Ethernet adapters are listed.
- If present, right-click the adapter and select Disable, then Enable.
2. Run Windows Network Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings - System - Troubleshoot - Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Network and Internet troubleshooter.
3. Reset Network Settings
- Open Settings - Network & Internet - Advanced network settings.
- Select Network reset.
- Restart the computer after the reset completes.

I hope this helps.

Greetings All the above steps we done nothing worked. Connected via the g5 dock and directly to the laptop nothing works, resorted to rebuild the laptop as time is of the essence. We have like +*/- 400 HP Notebooks (640/650)

Hi @Radesh1,
I understand that, with a large deployment of approximately 400 HP 640/650 notebooks, especially when the issue appears to have started after recent Windows updates.
Since the issue persisted both through the HP USB-C Dock G5 and with a direct connection to the notebook, and the standard network troubleshooting steps did not resolve it, this may require deeper investigation of the affected system image, drivers, or the interaction between the recent Windows updates and the network components.
At this point, I recommend contacting HP Phone Support so the technical team can review the case in greater detail and determine whether a known issue, driver remediation, or further escalation is required.
1) Click on this link— https://support.hp.com/contact
2) Add or select the product, and change/select your region.
3) Enter the serial number of your device or select Let HP detect your product option.
4) Choose "other" option from the list
5) Select continue to contact option
You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
They will guide you further.
Or, You may also visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
Kindly follow this link to locate the nearest HP service center: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
