(SIGH)
It's just another evening of pointless excersise trying to do again - what on a real system is easy. As opposed to HP hell.
I've got a old HP Probook 4530S .....but guess what, the bluetooth on it does not exist - so off to HP's sad lonely useless webbsite and I've pulled down these dumb and stupidly named SP things ......
I've tried: SP51392 and 52803 and 60076 and 55390 and 59885 and 55471 and 52850 and also 52808.
And of course none of them do squat and are a total waste of time.
I've even referanced and old TOMS HARDWARE on the problem and it says to install HP Connection Manager.
As usual this this is as sad as the rest of my HP products have been for the past 10 years but, for fun, lets see if this new putz: Dion Weisler wants to get off his butt and help, but I suspect he's as hopeless as Carley Fiorina was when I had to do this crap for a living.
So if you tell me to go to do a system restore from the CD's which is usualy the HP techs go-to statement, it probably won't happen ..... it's just to get a bluetooth speaker going becasue the speakers in the laptop are crap and worse case I'll just go use my working Toshiba Tecra R950 .... you know, something that works, kind of like the days when you bought an HP II or HP III Laster printer and it ran flawlessly for decades ..... back when HP - MADE PRODUCTS THAT WORK !!
So what say you forum folks ...... what driver do I need to use to get the bloody bluetooth on and yes its started in services and the WiFi is happy with it's Realtek Set, as opposed to Intel, or Quallcomm, or Reilsys and all the other crap I find when I go hunting ........
Cheers'

That is an option. Did you buy option with Bluetooh ? You machine can have following options
- Realtek 802.11b/g/n
- Intel Centrino Advanced-N 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi (2 x 2) and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR Combo
- Ralink 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi (2 x 2) and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS Combo
- Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi (1 x 1) and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS Combo
And one of them does NOT have Bluetooth which is the first one.

Download and install HPIA (HP Image Assistant)
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HPIA.html
I believe that 32 and 64 bit Windows 7 Reference Image files exist for this system.
The HPIA utility should be able to analyze your image and see which drivers are avaialble for your platform. I just checked and I see several Bluetooth drivers (Intel PROSet, Qualcomm Atheros and Realtek Motorola BC8) are listed.
Please keep in mind that the EOL for the system was January 2018 so there might be a few links that are broken. I checked and it appears that all of the Bluetooth drivers are still avaialble on the support site.
