Atheros AR 5007 driver for Vista

I am trying to get a Compaq Presario C731EM running Vista connected to my talktalk router.  It seems to connect without internet access, and lists it as an unidentified network operating Local only.  From much research on the internet it seems the Atheros driver needs to be updated to one dated 2010 which should work.  

On the HP website when I list my model it gives me a driver dated  2008 with a reference 7.6.0.114.   I have seen on this forum links to drivers (which I am accessing via a second computer )but when I go to the link I cannot see any drivers to use. How do I get a later driver that will work please?

Excellent, I am very grateful, the hours I have wasted to get here.  I am new to this forum but shall use it again.  I may get more problems as I can now try to get this old computer working better.

Hi, I tried to download this driver for my Windows Vista 64 bit, 2 pack.  I received a message that it is corrupted.  Is there another way to download this driver on my windows Vista?
