Pavilion - 15-cw1511sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am attaching a USB C to USB Hub with 4 USB 3.0 Ports. Primarily so I use my Wireless mouse and keyboard. The dongles work fine if I use a hub plugged into one of the USB ports. However if I plug in a newly acquired USB C to USB hub there isn't a connection.

The specs of your machine is

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06391639

It has a hopeless 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port. What is your hub. I think they are not compatible.

Regards.

Hi, thanks for replying so quickly. Yes, I think it is probably incompatible.

It is an Atolla C106.

Thanks again. 🙂
