Hi @SANJAY115, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If Bluetooth is not working on your HP laptop running Windows 7, follow these steps to troubleshoot:

Check if Bluetooth is Enabled

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Look for Bluetooth Support Service → Right-click and select Start or Restart.
  • Set the Startup type to Automatic (Right-click → Properties).

Verify Bluetooth is Installed

  • Press Windows + R, type devmgmt.msc, and press Enter.
  • Expand Bluetooth or Network Adapters.
  • If you see Bluetooth Adapter (e.g., "Intel Wireless Bluetooth" or "Realtek Bluetooth"), it's installed.
  • If there's a yellow exclamation mark (!) or it’s missing, reinstall the driver.

Install/Update Bluetooth Drivers

  • Go to HP official website → Search for your laptop model.
  • Download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers for Windows 7.
  • Alternatively, check Intel, Broadcom, or Realtek's website if your Bluetooth is from them.

Enable Bluetooth in BIOS (if applicable)

  • Restart your laptop and enter BIOS (press F2, F10, or ESC at startup, depending on your model).
  • Look for a Wireless or Bluetooth option and ensure it's Enabled.

Use Windows Troubleshooter

  • Press Windows + R, type control panel, and press Enter.
  • Go to Troubleshooting > Hardware and Sound > Bluetooth and follow the instructions.

Check Bluetooth Function Key (if available)

Some HP laptops have a Bluetooth toggle key (Fn + F2/F3/F12). Ensure it's turned on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
