HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer

The blue light on my HP Envy 6062 is blinking instead of being steady on like normal.

How do I fix this?

I just recently upgraded to Windows 11; could that have anything to do with it?

It was working just fine before I upgraded.

Hi @stevenlipe,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Wireless status light: The light indicates the status of the printer's wireless connection. A solid blue light indicates that a wireless connection is established and that you can print wirelessly. If the wireless feature is turned off, the wireless light is off and the Wireless Summary screen displays Wireless Off.

When you turn on your printer for the first time, Wi-Fi setup mode is automatically turned on so the printer can be discovered during setup. For security reasons, Wi-Fi setup mode turns off after two hours.

Use the Wireless button on the back of your printer to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.

  • On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for five seconds.

NOTE: Your control panel might look different than the following example, but the steps are the same.

Example of pressing the Wireless button for five seconds

  • Wait for the Status light to turn purple.
  • Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

From the printer control panel, touch (Wireless) icon. The Wireless Summary screen displays.
Touch (Settings) icon, and then touch wireless Settings.
In the Wireless Settings screen, select “Off” for the wireless option.
