HP ProBook 4540s Win 10 (64-Bit). My fist problem Bluetooth would not detect any thing, Bye following Paul-Tikkanen post i was able to get Bluetooth to find.Now allow a device to connect Bluetooth option is greyed out. I have removed from device manager and reinstalled up dated drivers, made sure services are on automatic. I have run trouble shooter. Just do not know where to go from here

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook come with?

 Sorry for late reply, the way I work don't leave me much time to work on this.   Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 Adaptor

That did not help it will find but not connect

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to uninstall the Atheros Bluetooth driver in the device manager and install this driver instead.

Did not help so, I am thinking. fresh install of windows   may be only action I have left. Thank you for your help.

Just wanted to let you know that after a fresh install of windows everything works as it should. Sometimes starting over is best fix. Once again thanks for your help
