Hi:

If you know for a fact that your model had Bluetooth, then most likely the Bluetooth was turned off during the W10 upgrade by the HP connection manager.

See if making a bootable Ubuntu installer allows you to turn on the Bluetooth in Ubuntu.

https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop

You do not need to install Ubuntu on your notebook's hard drive.

Just select the option to try Ubuntu without installing.

If you can turn the BT on in Ubuntu, exit out of Ubuntu and when you go back into Windows, the BT should be showing up.

No other way unless you reinstall W7, install the HP connection manager software, restart the PC, turn the Bluetooth on using the connection manager software, confirm the Bluetooth is on, uninstall the HP connection manager software, restart the PC.

Confirm the Bluetooth is still on, and then upgrade back to W10.

Otherwise your Bluetooth is gone forever and ever.
