I am glad you got it working.  You might consider creating a restore point in case something happens in the future.   I asked Google's AI if windows 7 can do restore points.

Yes, Windows 7 does utilize restore points through its "System Restore" feature, allowing users to revert their computer's state to a previous point in time by restoring system files, settings, and installed applications if issues arise; essentially enabling them to "roll back" to a point where everything was working properly. [1, 2, 3]

Key points about Windows 7 restore points: [1, 3, 4]
  • Functionality: You can create restore points manually before making significant system changes like installing new software or updating drivers.
  • Automatic creation: Windows 7 also automatically creates restore points at regular intervals.
  • Access: To access restore points, go to the Control Panel, then System, and select "System Protection". [1, 3, 4]

Generative AI is experimental.
