HP Envy x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-fa-0000 (8Z8P7AV)

Was using bluetooth headphones when the audio suddenly cut off. The bluetooth symbol had disappeared from my taskbar, but I could still find the settings for bluetooth devices, and even see previously connected devices. However, when I clicked connect, I was immediately met with "That didn't work. Make sure your bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again.".

To make sure it wasn't an issue with my bluetooth headphones, I tried and succeeded in connecting them to my phone. I then checked device manager to uninstall my bluetooth drivers, but found that they did not appear in the options. Restarting my device has no impact, I can't find any BIOS updates for my specific device online, and there are no pending windows updates.

This is not an uncommon issue, and has happened to me probably 3 times at this point, including today even.  The most agreed upon solution is to go into the device manager, under the "view" dropdown at the top, click "show hidden devices", go to the bluetooth dropdown, which should have appeared by this point, and uninstall the driver for the bluetooth adapter, then restart your laptop a few times, at which point it should come back.

It is easily the most scuffed solution I've ever seen, and I'm still in the process of getting it to show up again, and it's quite weird that it happened to me on the same day it happened to you.
