Hi @OtisBD,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Enable Bluetooth in BIOS:

  • Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Look for Bluetooth settings and make sure it is enabled.
  • Save changes and exit the BIOS setup.

Check Bluetooth Drivers:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Check under the Bluetooth section to see if your Bluetooth adapter is listed. If not, check under Network adapters.
  • If there is a device with a yellow warning icon, right-click it and select Update driver.
  • You can also try uninstalling the driver and then restart your laptop; Windows will attempt to reinstall it automatically.

Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Select Bluetooth and follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

Restart Bluetooth Services:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Bluetooth Support Service, right-click, and select Restart.
  • Set the Startup type to Automatic.

Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows is up-to-date as updates can rectify missing or malfunctioning features.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.

HP Software Updates:

  • Use the HP Support Assistant to check for any updates specific to your HP Pavilion 15 model.
  • You can download the HP Support Assistant from the HP Official Website.

I hope this helps.
