Upon updating to Win 10 Pro ver. 1809 today, everything works fine except the Bluetooth. The troubleshooter says "device not installed..." Funny, have been using is for years!
I've run all windows and HP diagnostics and nothing has changed. I have rolled back to ver 1803 and now all the previous drivers appear in device manager, all Bluetooth devices show up under settings/devices/Bluetooth&other devices but they all indicate "Bluetooth is turned off". The Bluetooth icon is no where to be found.
Any help please?

So I recalled a HP hard reset procedure where shutting down, removing the battery and holding down the power button for a bit would cure potential ailments.
After performing this procedure, all BT anomalies have been resolved and in fact Win 10 ver 1809 is now installed and operating normally.
The wonders of modern computing. Thanks again for all of your help.
