● Issue: Bluetooth device pairs but never stays connected

  • When pairing a Bluetooth device, it initially shows as “Connected”, but immediately switches back to “Paired”.

  • I tried restarting multiple times but the issue persists.

● Affected Bluetooth device

  • Keyboard: Logitech Pebble Keys K380s
    This keyboard works completely fine on two other laptops (Dell and Mouse Computer). The issue only occurs on this HP laptop.

● Troubleshooting already attempted (none worked)

  • Device Manager → Uninstalled Bluetooth driver (Realtek Wireless Bluetooth Adapter) → Restart

  • Device Manager → Uninstalled Bluetooth driver (Realtek Wireless Bluetooth Adapter) → Installed the latest driver from HP website (Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver) → Restart → The driver version did not update (Properties still shows the older version)

  • Device Manager → Update Driver (Realtek Wireless Bluetooth Adapter) → It says the latest driver is already installed
