Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every time i connect a bluetooth audio device the sound is very distorted i have the newest drivers for sound and bluetooth i have tried multiple buletooth devices and they all sound destored but if i connect them to a different device they sound fine.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, there seems to be an issue with the audio distortion when a Bluetooth device is connected.

 

Appreciate you trying the steps. Don't worry, I'm here to help! To better assist you -

 

1) What's the name of the device connected? 

2) Have you tried connecting the device to a different computer? 

 

Let's try these steps -

 

Step 1 Windows Updates troubleshooter -

Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.

 

Step 2 Windows Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer. 

 

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates - 

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

May I know what's the name of the Bluetooth device that you have connected? Have you tried updating that?

It is more than one audio device headphones and hi-fi system they sound fine on other devices.
