Bluetooth does not work

all worked under Win7 after installing Win10 does not work bluetooth, I explored to reinstall the driver but under Win10 there is no support from HP. Has anyone solved a problem? I ordered the Ali WiFi + BT card from the atheros chip or would not better support. Thank you for every suggestion

Is there a bluetooth device manager category showing up?

If not, the bluetooth radio was probably turned off in the HP connection manager software when you upgraded to W10, and the only way to turn on the Bluetooth is to either reinstall W7, install the HP connection manager software, turn on the BT, uninstall the HP connection manager software, verify the BT is still turned on, and then reinstall W10.

Or you can make a bootable Ubuntu installer, select the Try Ubuntu without installing option, and you can turn on the Bluetooth that way.

If there is a Bluetooth device manager category, unfortunately there are no W10 bluetooth drivers for any of the wifi adapters your notebook model supports.

very nice thanks for the response 🙂 in the device manager is a BT device where I have Realtek motorola BC8 driver, which I think worked in Win7, I try to install everything possible but without result. it was a little joy when my motorola driver put my iphone on my computer as a speaker and played music. so I do not understand it at all! I also downloaded the trick with the ubuntu there tells me that BT is turned on but does not work even there

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, that model BT adapter will not work in W8/8.1 or W10.

The only combination wifi/bluetooth adapter that has any chance of working completely in W10 would be the Intel 6230 wifi adapter listed in chapter 3, page 26 of your notebook's service manual at the link below...

If you wanted to replace the wifi card, you can only get the part number listed in the service manual (636672-001).

Do your search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

You should be able to find a used but tested and working card on eBay.

I also try to order the intel even when I have already ordered Atheros, my mind is over switching in HP Connection Manager, it will probably be turned off but when the utility can not be installed in Win10. it's all bad !!!
