Welcome to HP support community.

Try downloading Bluetooth driver from Intel website

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27493

  •  After this drivers update reboot the notebook, check is the Bluetooth drivers are listed under device manager.

  • And check if it's able to pair any Bluetooth device

If the issue is not resolved, try to run BIOS update and check.

Refer this link for  BIOS update:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Sandy,

Thanks for your reply...I tried both ways, but still it doesnt work. In device manager, Intel Centrino Wireless Bluetooth 3.0+High speed virtual adaptor is still hidden and not able to connect to any other devices.

Please suggest if there is any other way-out for this issue.

Thanks,

PJJ.

Hi Sandy,

Thanks again for your reply.

Troubleshoot gives the message as "Device does not have Bluetooth".

In the flight mode it shows only Wifi switch and there is no Bluetooth on/off switch.

Again under Settings/Devices/Bluetooth and other devices, both Bluetooth switch and More Bluetooth options are missing.

Awaits for solution.

This might require remote access of your computer to fox the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
