Hi Sayan,

Have you had a look in your BIOS settings to make sure that Bluetooth is enabled?

Hi Martijn,

There is no configuration option for bluetooth in BIOS. I have already seen this https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-T400-T500-and-newer-T/ThinkPad-T500-Where-is-Bluetooth-setting.... But there is not much options in bios other than password.

Hi Sayan,

That is a pity. Do you mean that your BIOS is locked with a BIOS password that you need to enter to access the BIOS?

Hi Martijn,

I can access BIOS, but there is no configuration option for bluetooth. Under security Tab, I can only see options to set passwords. And that's it; there is nothing more.

Hi Sayan,

Did you check all the other tabs as well? Maybe it is there if you have a slightly different model than mentioned in the 'guide' you sent me.

Hi Martijn,

I finally solved it by updating BIOS from here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/de/en/products/LAPTOPS-AND-NETBOOKS/LENOVO-G-SERIES-LAPTOPS/LENOVO-G580...

I rebooted after installation, and the bluetooth is there in the device manager 🙂 Thank you for suggesting to check in BIOS 🙂
