Hi @ingale ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble downloading Bluetooth software or drivers for your HP laptop, here are steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

Check HP Support Website: Visit the official HP support website and navigate to the drivers and downloads section. Enter your laptop's model number and look for the Bluetooth drivers specifically designed for your laptop model. Download the appropriate driver from the official source to ensure compatibility.

Windows Update: Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, Windows Update can automatically install the necessary drivers, including Bluetooth drivers.

Device Manager: You can try updating the Bluetooth driver through the Device Manager. Here's how:

  • Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
  • Locate the "Bluetooth" category, right-click on your Bluetooth device, and choose "Update driver."
  • Select "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the on-screen instructions.

HP Support Assistant: If your HP laptop comes with the HP Support Assistant software pre-installed, open it and check for driver updates. It can help you keep your system and drivers up to date.

Windows Troubleshooter: Run the built-in Windows troubleshooter to detect and fix common Bluetooth issues.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Go to "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot."
  • Select "Bluetooth" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Uninstall and Reinstall: If you have previously installed Bluetooth drivers that are not working, try uninstalling them and reinstalling the latest drivers from the official HP website.

Check for Hardware Issues: Ensure that the Bluetooth hardware is functioning properly. You can do this by checking the device manager for any hardware-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
